IKS channel question
Do DN channels like Fox Sports (Hockey games) still come in. I remember that last year alot of Fox sports would carry local hockey games. Just wondering because I am thinking of getting an IKS receiver.

That would be a very good move on your part. You wouls want to purchase the unit that will give you the most bang for your buck. NFUSION is one of the best out therel i would suggest the HD receiver or at the least the PHOENIX, if money is an issue.

wow thats a ton of channels, kind of wished I didn't order NHL centre ice, price for that would be the price for a nfusion.

Thats what im thinking the HD model. Im assuming that I can also use this stb for all my TFTA needs too, correct? As I have a motorized dish. Is it easy to set up, and load new files like my sv8000.

It's pretty much the same. The only downside the Nfusions have is that they will never run a standalone file, but seeing as there is no standalone file that shouldn't really matter. Yes, it can do TFTA too and will run your motor without a problem.

As it is right now, I don't have wireless to hook into IKS. Can I find files or can I just go on once a day to download from the server directly. Of course I dont mind doing this until I get wireless in Jan.

nope. Thers no files.
Infact the very second you unplug the dongle from it's iks server you loose picture.

You don't need wireless for you internet signal. You should look into a wireless powerline adapter. It allows you to use your powerlines in your house as the signal carrier.

I use a HomePlug Wave, and it works great. Its plug and play. So its very easy to use. I have one hooked up to my modum, and one by my stb. My question is if I purchase another one of these, could I run two iks stb's. My modum only has two out ports. A usb (which is hooked up to my computer) and a ethernet (which is hooked up to the HomePlug Wave.) Also if I go with a new Nfusion HD what file or files will I need to load to get it up and running.
