moose44 here for all the sats i am testing with my iv200pvr --- they are up 25 seconds and down for 2 minutes any suggestions --- I ahve tried reloading on off etc.

Are keys only good for a particular bird on that day? new to the satellite world!

Sometimes bin files will last for days, sometimes weeks. Other models may last a month or longer on the same file. This depends mainly on the skill of the coding groups. You will learn this over a period of time testing in this hobby. If you include information on what provider you are trying to test, we can answer your question better.

thanks for the insight, are the bins good for any dn bird or just 110-119 which seems to be the most popular ones?? im a coolsat 6100 owner which im afraid to acknowledge based on what i been reading about its support staff. not a big tv person but would like to see it for more than 3 minutes at a time... still enjoying this hobby!!!
