Do you have an A1 board installed? There is not a lot of HD on 110 but there is on 129 and 61.5

Re: help with sonicview 8000

Most large dishes come with Linear LNBs. The LNB is called "the eye". Check the LNB for printing, and tell us what it says on it. 110W 119W and 129W all need Circular LNBs, which electronically are way different than Linear LNBs. Let us know.

Re: help with sonicview 8000

Sorry for not checking for responses here. That is a circular LNB, that is correct. The S meter or Signal meter only shows you a connection to the LNB. The Q meter or Quality meter shows that you are actually aimed to a satellite. Since you have no Quality, your dish is not aligned to a satellite. In your first post you said it had 100 Quality and 0 Strength, so maybe you had them backwards.

The best thing to do with just the one dish is find 119W.

You can use the below link for help
Satellite Finder / Dish Pointing Calculator with Google Maps | DishPointer.com

Put in your area, and click on 119W in the drop down box.

This will give you Elevation, Azimuth. A 180 Azimuth is due South, just so you know. Anything off of that is just an angle on a compass. Most compasses have Azimuth on them. Azimuth is 0 at due North. 360 degrees around like a circle. Due West is 270 Azimuth. Due Southwest is 225 degrees. That is the general angle most point towards.

In the 119W setup put in...

LNB Type: Standard or Normal
LNB Freq: 11250
TP: 12239

When you find a satellite,, the satellite name found will appear in the top area somewhere.

Good Luck !!
