Channel Master: Unknown BIN file format!

Greetings to all,

This is my first post on this site. I had used Channel Master a couple of years ago and found it useful. When I tried to use is today it would not open any of my BIN files for my Pansat 3500S.

I tried both my old versions of Channel Master as well as the latest ones from this forum and from CM's web site. Still the same message every time I try to open an BIN file: "Unknown BIN file format" !!!

Can anyone help with this one? What am I missing?

Thanks

Re: Channel Master: Unknown BIN file format!

Channel Master is for maintaining and altering channel lists. You cannot use Channel Master to open and write Pansat bin files from this site. If you need to write a bin file to a Pansat 3500, use the loader in the B-80 upgrade in Files Section for the Pansat 3500S. I would read that file over carefully, and your receiver should blink b-80 when it boots up.

The reason we are asking is because we are a small site and all expenses are out of pocket. In order to maintain and keep the site running it costs lots of money for server costs, maintenance, etc. It's more than one can be obligated to pay and we hope you can find it in your hearts to help support this site so we can continue to give you great support.
