I try to point my dish to bev 82 W , and I have really weak signal (68 %). That's the strongest signal I can get from dish.When I did a scan I have just 80 channel and no hd found

Looks like you don't have VERTICAL signal. Right? You need 30" and up.

yes, i have regular dish with one lnb, but if i turn the same dish to ds 110 w, I got 15-20 hd channel. Bor BEV I neeed biger dish?

YES buddy. im in florida and im using 33" to caught this BIRD.

Of course a bigger dish helps, but you should get a better signal than that. Are you sure you had the settings right? For a 18" dish w/ single LNB, settings are:

Nimiq 2
LNB Type: Standard
LNB Freq: 11250
TP: 12224

A natural question is, How long is your cable run? Cables can give you extra resistance, and reduce your signal. Are you sure you had Nimiq 2? I believe when you hit Nimiq 2, it should have also displayed Nimiq 2 somewhere on the screen besides the Nimiq 2 in the settings boxes.

Remember your S meter is only your connection to the LNB.
The Q meter is the actual pointing strength to the satellite.

So, you are looking for Q or Quality to Nimiq 2.

Upgrade to a dish 500 sooner or later. Tell us how you would want to grow from here, we can offer you some advice. Saves you on buying switches and LNBs you will not need.

Thanks for the advise.
On nimiq 2 freq :11250 have no signal at tp (1) 12224.
I got some signal on tp -4 and tp - 16 (I have just 32 tp's load it). Cable is fine - less than 75' and with the same dish and cable turn to 110 bird i got over 250 chanels including 20 hd ch (with 64 tp load it). Do I have to load all 64 tp on bev for hd chanel?
I also got a dish pro 500, and I have 2 kind of lnb: dishpro and
dishpro plus, the problem is to connect the other 2 legacy dish that I have (one for 110 w, and one for 97 w) and I understand that you can not connect all 3 to a switch unless you have a dish pro plus 44 switch and adapter.
Please advise?
Did they make any single LNB for dish pro?

If I go one done down to dir tv 7s/ku I have 60% signal on 12530 H (and show at the bottom of the screeen (nimiq 2 @ 82

Meaning you got the nimiq2 @ 82W. Not the dir tv 7s/ku.

You should be getting quality on TP 1, 12224 for Nimiq 2. You are right when the lower center area highlights which satellite you are on. That has to match the satellite you are setting up. How about hooking up Nimiq 2 direct, and bypass everything else to see if you can get a good Quality showing. You may have a poor cable going over to it from your DiSEqC switch. Or you have a setting problem. It really does sound like you are scanning 97w when you are scanning Nimiq 2 to me. Shut power off before connecting and reconnecting cables to LNBs.

They did make a single eyed Dish Pro LNB made for slaving out on the DPP Twin LNB. If you have another receiver hooked up to your LNB system, kill the power to that receiver before adjusting for Quality and scanning, also. That receiver may have control of the LNB DiSEqC port. This Dish Pro LNB alleviates that problem.
