FTA Question need help

hey everybody,
theres an antenna 500 with a single eye pointed at the bird 110 if one gets another separate eye point at the bird 119 would one have to some how connect the two separate eyes, in order to get signals from both birds into the same receiver

yes, you will need to get a diseqc switch that will allow you to connect both eyes to the switch and then the output to the receiver. you can get a yoke that will hold both eyes but you should use an eliptical dish to improve your chances of getting good signal. you can always also use the poor mans way and just fasten the other lnb next to the other one and try it that way but in either case you will need the switch.

You should have gotten a DiSEqC switch with your receiver (most come with a DiSEqC switch in the box). Change your settings to whatever port you wire it into. If you wire 119W to Port 1 and 110W to Port 2, you would just change the 119W DiSEqC settings to DiSEqC Port 1 and 110W settings to DiSEqC Port 2.
