to get HD
Thanks in advanced,
would it be possible to get some HD channel with birds 110 and 119 on sigth on an antenna 500 from DN, or would it forsably require an atenna 1000 from DN pointed at bird 129, and would the LNB's need to be specifically designed for HD or would they not matter in this case, assuming all of the equipment needed is at hand, thanks again. |

Re: to get HD
there are a few HD channels on 110 and 119, check lyngsat.com for details.
you will need an HD receiver that has an 8psk module installed. you are correct however, most of the HD is on 129. you can add another single dish and just point that at 129. |

Re: to get HD
The hd channels are pretty much on 129 it uses the same type of lnb as 110/119, it's a bit of a stretch to get 110,119 and 129 on a single dish.

Re: to get HD
I would get the Sonicview SV-8000HD V2. They have been running for a long time without any problems. The Viewsat 9000HD software is still in the beta stages, and they are working the bugs out of it when they get a chance to. You can probably find one with the 8psk adapter / Q tuner already installed. If not, it is real easy to do.
