Trouble with 500"s veiwsat extreme
HI even with the new fix for vs extreme I am only getting thre channels in the five hundres.I reprogramed for virgin bin and loaded still the same is this problem happing to everyone or am I doing something wrong.

Hello and welcome, I assume your talking about dn. Can you see the channels but they are coming up scrambled? What bin do you have?

you may have incorrect TP settings, make sure 119 TP freq is 12239.
you may also have poor signal, if your quality is much below 70% that will give you the same results on weak transponders. you may have to adjust or skew your dish. |

1. We need your LNB description. (LNBs are sometimes called the eyes) Do you have seperate LNBs? A Twin LNB? Does the LNB have big black DP or say Dish Pro on it?
2. Also, how is it hooked up? Sounds like it might be a simple settings problem to me. 3. And, was the dish pre-installed by someone, or installed by you? Answer these 3 simple questions, and we will help you get all channels scanned.
