Pansat 3500SD
I am locked on echo 8,tryin to get echo 7,I have the dishnetwork standard dual LND dish,seems like I have a good signal until i select "ok" in the attenna set up mode,as soon as i select "ok" I loose the signal,must be something wrong with the way i hooked up the diseqcv1.0 switch,seemed pretty straight forward,had a port for the reciever,put echo 8 on port 2 and it plays fine,hooked 7 up on #1 and nothing.
What confuses me is I get good signal on 7 then I click the ok button to proceed with setup and signal disappears,also get a signal on some other satellites like G3c that arent even close to echo 8. anyone got any idea what I am doing wrong ? thanks & good luck Last edited by joe2008 : 09-20-2008 at 09:37 PM. |

The first thing is to describe your LNB.
Does it say Dish Pro on it? Or have big black DP letters on it? Is this a Dish 500 when you say it is standard? Another thing, is it a Twin LNB? Meaning... are there two seperate LNBs, or are both LNBs joined together in the same housing? If they are encapsulated in the same housing, it is a Twin LNB.
