New life for the Pansat 2500A?

What would be the first and subsequent steps to rejuvenate a Pansat 2500A that hasn't had any 'attention' in about 3 years? Any help would be appeciated. Needless to say, I am a newbie to FTA with this hand-me-down receiver; so if you reply, please 'break it on down'...Thanks!
