Captive Works 700s brand new
HI EVERYONE,

I have a brand new captive works 700s, its still in the box.

Do I need to load the factory firmware?
Or can i just load the latest bin

what do i have to do first?

Most of the receivers comes with the latest Factory file so you just need to download the Latest working file,setup your Antenna setting and do an Auto scan to get the channel.

I originally put the all ten numbers instead of nine to get my new Captiveworks 700s. I sent the receivers back and have received two new ones. I booted one receiver along with the new bin file and tried an autoscan and am getting nothing. Do I need to download the factory file?

motty, After you have done the Factory Default File Upload the new (BF) bin-file and let us know if this move works...
