set up request
hi i want to buy a k box receiver and i don't know how to set it up to get the dn channel and what i have to bye with it if any body can help me with this information

You have to point your dish at the satellite(s) you want to use. If you have a dish already setup you just need to configure the settings (switches LNB's etc) and scan in your channels. It's not really hard at all.
Not that there's anything wrong with it but why did you decide to get a Kbox?

It's a great box and yes, you can get DN channels. They have a stable server from what I've heard and they even brought up the UFC fight this past weekend. I'm sure you'll like it.
Don't forget you'll need a Khub too  .

It's just the way the site I got that from had it formatted, it's not really important. It's just to do with the encryption and int'l channels. Black = unencrypted, Green = N3 Blue = Int'l Red = Porn

I don't know for sure how much it goes down but it's not that often. What can you do?

I wouldn't bother until you have the Kbox ready to go. There are different versions of the Kbox and Khub each with their own respective files.

Well, I don't see how DN can take you to court seeing as you live in Canada. But it is illegal to watch encrypted signals in Canada. But it's also technically illegal in Canada to watch even unencrypted signals (like True Free to Air).
I don't know if DN could determine who is accessing the server at any given time. It's unlikely that they could get that info without a warrant and even if they do, if the server doesn't keep a log (most don't) then it wouldn't matter anyway. IKS is a "use at your own risk" technology. There is a lot of people out there using it and it's unlikely that they would target the end-user but it's possible. So be aware of that.
