hello,new to forum
My husband and I would like to learn more about the FTA receivers and why they are so popluar. We have a dishnetwork 500 dish with a dual LNB and we have a dish receiver the dp301 with a purple card in the card slot. We are looking for something with good support,updates,etc... so we can get our dish network programming back up and running once again so we dont have to pay out almost three hundered dollars to get our programming back and this way if we go this route we will be able to have all our channels opened including our locals and PPV channels so we can watch our PPV WWE wrestling when it airs. We would like to know what the best receiver is to use and the best place to purchase one at a low price or possibley be able to trade in our dish network receceiver for a good FTA receiver to get our dish network progamming back online so to speak. We wish we could use our receiver that we have without having to use a jtag and etc.. but Im sure it would be alot more better and alot more simpler to go the FTA receiver route. Thanks for letting us join this form and I hope that there will be alot of help for us out there to choose the best way to go and the best recevier to buy or the best way to go. We use to have a amgeta card and loader along time ago and we loved it cause it being so easy to use and load. We would love to go this route again if we didnt have to buy a jtag and etc... to go about getting the box keys and etc.. We use to deal with a company that helped us with all this and it must have gone out of business. i hope someone can help us out and point us in the right direction.
