Signal Strength Problem

Hello and thanks for taking time to read this.

As the title suggests, my problem is with signal strength regarding sat 110. Currently, the nfusion states that the signal strength is at 51% and quality at 0% yet when i plugged my viewsat maxhd in, it reads a signal strength of 98% and quality of 85%. Because of this I can't search for any channels. I don't understand what can be causing this discrepency. I'm a noob when it comes to this so if I've omitted information let me know and I'll post it.

Thanks again.

Re: Signal Strength Problem

I'm kind of a noob too. But it sounds like to me that the sat settings are not right with the infusion.

Re: Signal Strength Problem

Write down all the settings from the Viewsat and then put those settings into the nfusion. Pay attention to all of them, DiSEqC switch settings, LNB Type settings, etc. The settings areas are all slightly different from receiver to receiver. Be sure when the Viewsat is connected the setup screen for 110W also displays 110W at the bottom. Or, the Viewsat may see a different satellite here. Sounds like this could be a simple settings problem.

I tried copying the settings to the nfusion but that didn't work. The viewsat does display "Echostar 10/11" at the bottom. I have an 8psk board installed, if that's relevant.

Also I noticed that in the viewsat, 110 is labeled "Echostar 10/11" and in the nfusion its labeled "Echostar 8/10". Is that correct? If not, is there anyway to change it?
