How To JTAG Dead Box from 2500 to 2700 Conversion
Step By Step Jtagging your Dead Box back to life from the 2500 to 2700 conversion Several people who were in a hurry to get their boxes working choked on the serial conversion and ended up with a dead box (Black Dead - NOT Knight Rider lights). Below you will find a step by step Word File with all the necssary JTAG files (you can add jvvh_211_pwTd bin in the same separate folder) for any box with the following Chipset: Processor STi5518BVC, Flash Chip MX 29LV800BTC or BTTC. Please follow the procedure exactly (it gives the screenshots and shows what is going on).
