Re: new file for 2500?
Ok now I see. They will work the same, the Nikk Mty Team and Fwank7 Team are 2 different groups that take a 2700 file and convert it. Some people prefer one over the other so we have to post both. As long as they are both the same file # they will work pretty much the same.

Re: new file for 2500?
If you see other files sometimes there are differences in the remote infrared codes. In the early 2500 conversion days you would need an actual 2700 remote. The 2500 uses different IR frequencies than the 2700 remote. Nowadays I think both frequencies are built into these bin files. If not, this would explain why you see different files. There are many people doing their own compressions. To avoid potential problems, always use the Team PUFF files. They are completely tested, and other files that might come out quicker are not tested, and may cause severe problems. So, if you are unaccustomed to JTAGing your receiver, only use Team PUFF files.
I always recommend getting bins from Team Puff. These files are compressed from the guys below on the list. They also compare notes with each other, and make changes to the original code when needed. Jvvh Fwank7 Nikk Mty Ukronic (sometimes abbreviated Ukr, actually spelled UkRoNiC) Lothario Tronics Chancysand (sometimes abbreviated CS) I sure hope I didn't forget any of these guys above. Many thanks need to go out to these guys, as they are the ones keeping the Pansat 2500 alive. Blacklist abandoned this model, as the memory requirement needed for the then new N1 to N2 encryption code was too large for what this receiver had. These guys resurrected them to use the 2700 3rd party code through new boot files and using 2700 file compression techniques. Of course you can never use an actual 2700 file for these receivers. This was pioneered by the originator of the compression who was Jvvh. You will find the jvvh name appearing on most of these bin files, out of respect, of course. Hope This Helps !!
