Re: no channels
Sorry, you haven't posted in awhile, so I waited for a reply.
Which satellite was it working on ?? Like, were there a lot of Vu channels for instance, or Vue channels ?? Give me an example of some of the channels you were watching. Seems to me you were watching BEV. You may have to realign the dish to one of the Echo satellites. Answer the question, I will give you some directions to get you back up with something.

Re: no channels
I had a lot of vu channel
the only thing I really havn't done and probably could be is the boot v6 file I never did load the boot file.. this is how I set it up the last time i set my install then to antena setup and scroll down to see what satellite gets quality signal..thats when I selected echo 7 and 8 and it was working with bin 411 for a while untill 301 and 302 came out :-( |

Re: no channels
Okay, your problem is the dish is aligned to Nimiq 1. That is why it stopped working. What you have to do is align it for Echo 7 119W.
Do a Factory Reset first. Go to Menu -> Factory Setting -> 0000 (4 zeros) -> Ok Drop your dish about 8 elevations, and move the dish towards the West about 30 degrees to find signal again. So go into the settings, and change... Echo 7/Ku LNB Type: Standard LNB Freq: 11250 TP: [2] 12239 V 20.000 <-- One arrow to the right Remember when you are going into this menu for Echo 7/Ku to check or find signal, the TP number has to be on [2] 12239 20.000. You can Exit and Ok to Save. Once you find signal like I suggested above, go to Blind Scan and scan Echo 7/Ku. Your dish is pointed to Nimiq 1 91W. The best way to test DN is to get another 18" dish like the one you have. There are 2 DN satellites, 110W and 119W. Hope This Helps !!

Re: no channels
I didn't forget you. I told you that you need to move your dish. Right now you are aimed at Nimiq 1. What more would you like me to say on this ?? Read Post #26 above.
