FTA Unhappy Need Help getting English channels.

I have a Pansat 3500SD that I used to view Indian channels, but with N3 I have no choice but to switch to English channels. When I first started to view indian channels, my friend actually positioned my satallite dish for me. Now that i have recently moved, I need to figure out how to position my dish in the correct location to recieve english channels, could anyone guide me on which is the easiest way to point my dish in the right direction. I also do not know which sat I need to be using to search for English channels.

I do not know if it is even possible for me to get these channels, but I was looking for channels that you usually get through Dish Network or if you buy cable, channels like Discovery and Nat geo etc..

Thank you for any help.

Re: Need Help getting English channels.

Hey there Helix! Welcome to AAAFTA.

N3 has knocked out all the BIN based boxes of which your Pansat is one. The only way to view DN now is to go with an IKS box or to wait it out and when/if N3 is cracked you'll be bale to view DN. Until it's cracked the only way to go is IKS. If you are going to get a new box look into the Sonicview boxes with the iHubs. I have one and they work great. Also here's a little reading for you:

And here's an update from the Pansat coders:

And here's some info on the Sonicview iHub if you're interested:

Re: Need Help getting English channels.

O, thought it was only international and adult ch. that migrated. Although I still have one friend who recieves english channels, and he is also an owner of Pansat. He isnt picking up his phone so its hard to reach him, but I will ask how he is getting them. I might be wrong, but thank you for your help.
