Re: how to update
If the file is in a directory on the receivers hard drive, you have to still update the receiver.
You can check this by Menu -> System Information That will tell you which file the receiver is running. Then if the channels are not cming in, let us know your dish type you are using. We also need your LNB type. LNBs are called "the eyes". Read on the casing and let us know what is printed on the LNBs. Then also include the settings you have in Antenna Setup. Once we have that information, we can help you get running.

Re: how to update
They may have to hit 8282 and go down and select Set default key and hit Ok and Exit out
This will jumpstart the Autoroll program The receiver may behave strange because the % countup screen is not there on the latest bins I recommend they have the Time Zone right, Summer Time is ON And have the nearest State and City entered for Renumber Local CH After 5 to 10 minutes the picture should come up Or else they have the settings incorrect. If the above doesn't help ... Tell them to do a Factory Reset with the remote (Menu -> Factory Setting -> 0000 four zeros -> Ok) Then tell them to make the settings from a working receiver the same on the Pansat 6000HXC Then blind scan each satellite Then do the above It will eventually work. Good Luck !!

Re: how to update
TP Auto Update should always be ON generally ...
Unless we instruct you to turn it OFF for some reason The file you should be using is bin file 3203 Here is the link --> Latest Fix New Bin File Pansat 6000HXC 6000 HXC 3203 Full EMU 2-26-09 Maybe try to reboot it from the rear power switch. If it just sits on Scrambled or Bad Channel ... I would try to Set default key again and let it sit on channel 200 for awhile again. And, did you do all the stuff in post #8 above ? Good Luck !!
