pansat receiver loses signal

My pansat 9200 is always losing the satelite signal when I cut it off for awhile. I need to reboot the box To get the signal. The people at Pansat told me to reboot back to factory reset. This still does not fix the problem. Its like the receiver is going into a sleep mode and you need to reboot to wake it up. Suffice to say, this makes it very hard to record anything overnight. Anyone else have this problem and know what do or is it just a bad receiver. Dennis

Re: pansat receiver loses signal

First of all Welcome to AAAFTA and Nice to have you here.

Buddy, try to unplug the receiver from the outlet while power is ON for 30sec. This is to drain all current and refresh your unit. Then power OFF and plug-in. Let us know result.

Sorry it didn't seem to work. it still goes into like a sleep mode unless you reboot the box. Dennis

Re: pansat receiver loses signal

dennis56 we are waiting for a new file right now.

The Pansats are freezing at this time.

You have a good receiver, just wait for the next file, and all will be well.
