n3 nad receivers

Question ?.....I know its been awhile since the switch over to N3.....but after viewing this site and another and viewing sites that are selling receivers.......and there is no stand alone files being relesed......does anyone think or is of the opinion that all receivers are going to go the way of IKS....to be able to keep up with the new N3 ECMs.....i have two viewsat receivers..VSPRO and VSULTRA...both are pretty much dust collecters right now......thinking of purchasing an IKS receiver.....possibly an Nfusion.....I have seen the postings that viewsat is close to a release on a stand alone but that has been said for the past 3 months now.....just inquiring...not trying to start anything bad or an arguement just really miss my satelite

As for Viewsat being close, you are right these are rumors. Some of these rumors which are known to be put out by people who are just jerking other people around. I don't think there will be a N3 solution anytime soon. I hope I am wrong but I think this is the case.

I would look into getting an IKS reciever, I already have 2 of them. But it all depends on how long you are willing to wait.

you need to hold off on viewsat they are filing bankruptcy and will be posting it in december .......done laid off half of the employees now real good news

Actually that was a rumour/malicious report, no company would ever announce months in advance they they intend to file for bankruptcy. How would they sell their remaining stock?

Remember Echostar makes and sells their own fta receivers!!!!! I think all this is a blinder so they and DN take over the market. Bunch of hypocrits. Again, fta is not illegal, as has been reported many times.

Dish Network began operations in 1996 as a service of EchoStar, with its Chairman Charlie Ergen.
Doesn't make sense they would destroy their own lucrative business.
