Who Couldn't Login on the 14th.&15th.

Hi, I was just wondering who couldn't login or even get on the site on the 14th. & 15th.
This seems to be a growing problem, I guess what gets me upset about it is when a person pays a donation and can't get on makes you feel that your money was thrown out the window.
I don't know about the rest of you who had problems but I did exactly what Woodcreeker said to do ! I cleared all cookies and passwords and already gave a donation so I shouldn't of had any problems.

I also could not get in on the 14th but the 15th ok.You have to understand the amount of load on the server during the ECM's.The only way to fix this is to upgrade the server or limit the numbers online at peak times.This is why i sub.Over all i'm satisfied with this site.

Nothing to do with the server and it was not this sites fault. A little "outside" interference I think. Read WC post on here:

I could not logon as well... couldn't even get the site to respond. The same thing happened last weekend so I just assumed it was server overload and waited until next day. I'm not complaining... just adding my experience in case it may help as feedback. I have an outside antenna that provides me with quite a few local channels in HD so I don't mind waiting. Thanks to all for your work in providing this service.

i agree i could not get into the site at all on those days. could not even pull it up at all either. tried from a couple of other computers also no luck then either. i though the site closed down.

Unfortunately the admins have no control over the number of "guests" that are attempting to log on and overwhelming the server. They are doing the best that they can. Nothing short of buying a whole server farm will make this go away completely.

Sometimes you need to keep plugging away, I tried to log in several times before I was able to get in. But once I was here, it ran fairly well.

Also, there is no sense logging in right after an ecm. It takes several hours for new .bins to arrive, the coders are good, but not 10 seconds good. My suggestion is point your dish at a true FTA sat and enjoy while the experts work it out. Oh, and have a little patience

I actually did read that, I was speaking in general terms, after an ECM it is sometimes hard to log-in. As more of the world finds out about our favorite FTA site, the "guests" are coming in droves. And its the thoughtful and helpful members like yourself, that attract them

I was logged in at time of ECM but unable to navigate site shortly after.

Also unable to come back and log out even if I wanted to, as am sure happened
to many other members as well.

Maybe the administrator can cut back the log-in time for members who are inactive to
see if that helps any. just a suggestion...

i think in general, almost every site was down, even the well paid ones. it was an ugly night after the ecm and it showed. i dont think anyone can anticipate what happens during ecms, some receivers are up, some down. i think when it effects everyone, the sites suffer. i think this site has a real lot to offer and has done very well in the past with the load and i thank everyone involved for making it work so well.

Great idea on guest access.

I think if there was a way to control guest access that it may also help us VIP members. At several different times during ECM's, I've not been able to even get to this sites main page.

Maybe a seperate VIP access page to log-in only?
