I dont know how permanent it is , they are still waiting on the insurance stufff to get done.

Hello ladybird,thats a good question.In our situation the insurance company gave us an initial check when the agent visited with us on the 2nd day after the fire,that check covered our immediate needs..also our policy covered 6mos rent during the rebuilding process..But who knows what there policy covered..good question..

i still havn't figured out how to get around this site .ithanked adminmk the other day for his help and asked to thank woodcreeker because he has helped me navigate through the site and i have been able to keep watching tv for the last couple of months.this is saying a lot for an old fart like me who does'nt know beans about a computer,i'm a new member,when i heard about the other member who had the fire,i talked to my wife,and we both agreed that these people need our support,not because of this site but,because these people are facing a tragedy that could hit any of us at any time . we have had some hard times hitting us lately,and it would be easy to justify looking out for ourselves,but we would rather risk doing without than risk going to sleep tonite knowing it could be the other way around.if i am in the right place for this message so be it .but if not you guys put it where it needs to to be

Thank you LP alot of times its easy to think that it will all be taken care of but anyone who has dealt with this type of situation, be it a flood or a fire or tornado, you know that the wheels move slow. So slow in fact at times, that you can be left in a bind. I applaud your kindness, you and your wife and your understanding that things aren't always black and white and its those places that we all may need help one Day
