Sonicview Blackout Problem Fix for 2-10-09 and 2-11-09
Seems some Sonicview receivers quit working last night and today. I was not aware of this, or I would have posted this information. I noticed this today on some Pansats, and realized there was something going on with the Autroll on Sonicviews. I also noticed a few people with Viewsats doing the same thing. (They would need an Opkey file) Anyway, the solution for Sonicview is to load a SoftKey file. They are sometimes called a SoftCam file as well, same thing. This will simply jumpstart the Autoroll routine built into your receiver, and it will start working normally again. I will post a more current file, later, but this one should work fine for you as well. Here is the Link --> Latest Sonicview Softcam Softkey File 11-01-08 Place the file on a USB drive and upgrade it like a bin file upgrade. For any SV-1000 users, use your Loader like upgrading a bin file. The receiver will know what to do with the file. Someone who has this problem and tries this can post below, and let other members know this is the way to get them back up if they are down. The power of forums... Good Luck !!

Loading the softcam file will not bring back the blacked out channels. New bin files are needed.
Have you tried rebooting your receiver, also make sure autoroll is set to On. |

Not sure which SV you have but try the following:
Menu > System Settings > User Options > Auto Roll ON and Exit |
