Hey Beeker, I guess I am hooked. Though the tele is running great, here I am back on the aaafta webpage. Ah well !!!

Morning Beeker, Interesting thing just wanted to run it by you. this morning set up network shareing like I do every morning, it always turns my firewall back on, so normally I turn it of again. Today I left it on, and lo and behold the tv is still working. what are your thoughts on this? Can I leave my firewall on now?

Whatever works for you. A firewall isn't for much other than monitoring incoming and outgoing connections. The reason why you make sure it's disabled is to eliminate that as a possible problem but if it's working, go for it. Windows firewall isn't particularly good so it probably wouldn't stop any unwanted incoming/outgoing traffic in any case.

No it's running, freezing but running.

Try a hard reboot using the switch at the back. Also make sure your serial number is entered into the line at the bottom in the ipconfig.

actually I double checked the serial number and I was missing a zero all along..I just re-entered the number and now is up. Thanks a lot for your help. Happy now...:-)

Ok, so I purchased a SVelite yesterday to replace my Nfusion. Do I need to preload the ihub with software from my laptop or can I do it through the tv?
I thought I had to use Wiznet for something, but when its hooked up to my laptop, I hit search and nothing happens.

Well plug it into the reciever, load the newest bin (v209 for the elite)and if it works there's no need for wiznet. Most new ihubs come with 1.4 pre-loaded.

Heres the file you need to load on the receiver:

No you have to use wiznet on a computer to update it. Once you have found the ihub set it to DHCP and upload the 1.4 bin. If you have any problems (ie if the ver says 82.0) let us know and we'll get you straightened out.

I have the wiznet tool on the computer ver 2.1.0. I may be doing this wrong, but when I run the search, nothing comes up. When I hit the upload, nothing comes up either.
Do I need more than just the program?
