For those of you that have PVR capability and an iHub, here's a way to make the freezing almost unnoticeable.

This is just a temp workaround that improves watchability of video/audio when server is freezing......eliminates the dropped audio after freeze for SV8K also.

Connect external hdd > tune to channel you want to watch > enable timeshift > press pause & wait a min or 2 to create a large enough buffer > press play.

Playback in timeshift reduces aparent freezes because it auto F/Fwds thru freezes reducing the freeze to a momentary blip....audio dropout at freeze is also eliminated....result is a little jerky because of the lost video sections but a vast improvment......amount of initial timeshift set at start depend on lenght of program and how many freezes because on timeshifted play the timeshifted buffer is reduced for every freeze.....if freezes are often you may want to start with a 15 min or more timeshifted buffer for a feature film etc.
I just set a 3 min timeshifted buffer on WFNHD and buffer was all used up after 3/4 hour of watching.
