Re: Need Help !

try loading the factory bin into the box. It may take several attempts before it loads. Make sure you do not power your box off during any downloads. If the box is frozen, leave it turned on but unplugged. Run the factory file on your "downloader" the same you would a new file. Instead of turning the box on during downloading, plug it in. This is only nessacery if you are unable to do it the normal way. Once it takes the factory file, wait till the new bin comes out and load it over top of the factory file

Re: Need Help !

Happy New Year and I hope you had a Merry Christmas, snowboy_2004 ! ! ! !

You will have to use the loader and the factory bin file. You have to "unzip" all files first.

Download the factory bin and the downloader. "Unzip" these files. You may have the wrong loader, so use the Downloader posted here on our site.

Download the latest bin file and unzip that also. The latest bin file here for your receiver is 283P.

Just like kaysar said above. Have power OFF on rear switch, and open the factory bin file in your loader, and click to write bin on your PC before you turn the unit on. This may take several attempts. Once that completes, write the latest bin file. You may have to force the factory bin write, by turn on the power on the rear and clciking from the PC to write the fatcory bin at the same time.

Once you get the factory bin to write, wait until it reboots completely. Then power OFF and click to write the latest bin, then turn the receiver ON from the back. Wait completely until that process is finished.

Setup satellites, scan channels and enjoy!

Good Luck !!
