sv1000 box locks up
my friend downloaded 284p and box sometimes freezes sometimes locks up when locking up will display an S or sometimes a 3 or go blank when this happens have to reboot to get back?

It is just the software I think. My 4000 does the same and then I have to switch it on and off from the back.

it is a bin problem. sometimes there are glitches with the download process as well. Make sure you always do a hard rebote after the download.There are lots of reports of micro freezing on the sv4000 188p file(autoroll update) so it may be the same with the sv1000 285p(autoroll update). all files have delays between channel changing. 284 has no reports of micro freezing but also does not autoroll. Lockups happen mostly when files scramble during the loading process. By doing the hard reboot after each download it compiles the file better causing less problems
