Re: sv8000HD invalid file

OK first of all you don't load the 1.4 bin into the receiver with usb...it loads from wiznet program from computer to ihub...heres a link and follow the instructions under new hub upgrade

the ihub is connected to the receiver
I can get the settings on it from ipconfig
started up the wiz loader that you offered me
I can connect to the server
the screen shows the ihub is not connected
Im using power ethernet by the way
cannot load ihub 1.4 to ihub
do i need to change the ip address in the ihub to reflect my router ip and gateway ip addresses?

and I noticed on the wiz loader screen that there is a funny entry in PPP0E ID
and when I run the prog the server ip goes from 77.93.75.89 to 0.0.0.0

Re: sv8000HD invalid file

ok I think I screwed it
I set the ihub to dhcp and dns to on
now the receiver wont recognize it

I hate it when intructions are not totally clear
looks like a lot of money down the drain

Re: sv8000HD invalid file

ok -- with a little luck I got the ihub set and loaded to v1.4 and the receiver recognizes the ihub

now I need to figure out how to connect this to the web
the current ihub ip address is 192.168.11.2

do I leave this ip address alone or do I change it to reflect my router settings which are 192.168.15.x ?

do i change any of the ipconfig settings in the receiver ?
right now they are set to static and no DNS
