Has anyone switched over to another brand?

Since iHUB first came out, the performance has greatly decreased to where the sonicview setup is the least working for some time... i personally have a couple so why i am asking the question. Has anyone switched over to another brand like nfusion? seems they have the best stability...

looking for comments on those that moved over...

Re: Has anyone switched over to another brand?

Sonicview seemed to get off on a good start. I wonder what happened. I have yet to give up completely on the Sonicview, It just does not get used as much.

Re: Has anyone switched over to another brand?

nfusion solaris and kbox prodigy with the khub are about the same costs...for about 30 bucks more nfusion phoenix is a good stb with a better picture...kbox has a better picture than solaris and nfusion has more channels open now on DN and BEV..hard for me to pick a favorite...I like em both..far as I'm concerned you can't go wrong either way...also both have NFL Sunday Ticket wide open on BEV for now..you just need to scan 91w a few minutes before game time to get the channels. Uptime and downtime are about the same for both and it doesn't happen often...nfusion I would say has less downtime than kbox but kbox's downtime is only when they're working on the server adding more channels

Re: Has anyone switched over to another brand?

Well I bought KBox Heros when it first came out and got the free chip upgrade to make it the Kbox Plus. I also have the SV360E with IHUB. The KBox is doing pretty good although I wish I had the Prodigy due to the fact it is supposed to have pretty decent time shifting as the KBox Plus time shifting is lousy at best actually it is horrible. It worked not too bad before the upgrade. The one advantage of KBox over Nfusion is that if and when a standalone file for N3 comes out, the Kbox will support it while the NFusion will still have to be connected to that internet at all times.

But if you want HD you will have to stick with Nfusion or Sonicview! Here is hoping that someone else makes and HD receiver soon! Or if Viewsat can crack N3!
