looking for ihub help
I have been fumblibg around reading for an hour or so looking for the file to load. My ihub is ver1.4
My sv360e has't been messed with since the blackout. Can some one point me to the right thread to set up my ihub for the first time on my sv360e? Also a point in the right direction for the file download? A good "how to" would be great! |

Re: looking for ihub help
I just ordered an IHUB 1.4 version, and it should be here in a few days. So as i understand this i just load this 462 beta file to the 8000 via usb thumb drive. Just like loading a bin file. So I dont have to mess with wiznet seeing its a 1.4 version. Its pretty much load(462 beta), boot, connect(IHUB), and play(channel 200). I,v been reading so many versions on how to get this thing going Its kind of confussing.
Thanks in advance for any help. Willy |

Thank you. That is exactly what I was looking for. I have no idea why I couldn't find it before. Maybe I was color shock from haloween. My dongle should be here wed. or thur. From what I read it will either work right away and be no trouble or I'm going to pull out hair. Thanx again. |

Re: looking for ihub help
Hello ryobie, what bin do you have loaded?
This is the one you need here: Sv Elite 209 Ihub Beta (Must read Release Notes ) If you load that, plug your ihub into your router and then go into ip config set the setting type to dhcp (should be default anyway), Use DNS to "Yes" and enter your serial in the bottom line, you should be good to go.

Re: looking for ihub help
I have 209 loaded.
I now am getting some channels like history and others. Some reason I don't have all the channels. I can't even change the receiver to some channels like 300, 301, 302, 303 It just skips over them. Thank you beeker for your help. |

Re: looking for ihub help
There is only 50 encrypted channels open right now (History is one). Here's a list that is updated in real time by the SV coders:
Sonicview iHub | Currently Available Channels They have had more channels open in the past however there was a lot of freezing. Now with less channels there is less freezing, they are working their way back up to as many as they had before but it will take time.

I was having this problem even with the stand alone fix but there was so meny channels I didn't care.
I'm going to step it back to the basics and replace mt lnb and see if I can get thigs wirking with the correct dish settings because I never could get it right. |

Re: looking for ihub help
What kind of switch are you using?
If you have more than one LNB you will need a switch of some kind, either a disecq or a 22khz switch.
