Hi, I am having a little problem I am only able to get echo star 7 OR 8 can't get them both at the same time, Did the perfect scan after factory reset now one or the other.
Have a SV elite pvr. Beeker if your out there appreciate help or anyone who can asist with this problem

I just had this exact same problem
I turned out that my dish post wasn't exactly plum.
I took off the dish set the pole to plum with a bubble put the dish back on it and then was able to get both.

Were doing the same only I am using both tuners. 7 on 1 and 8 on2 as per woodcreeker. with the legacy switch of the only difference

you have your settings the same as mine and you are having trouble?

One thing I have figured out is that the setting diseq Port 1 and port 2 is the setting that switches the 2 diferent lnb on the dpp.
Are you able to get one or the other on both diseq 1 and diseq 2?

if you are able to get both sats on only diseq port 1 or 2 then you know it is a dish pointing problem.

one lnb can pick up both but not at the same time.

Yes I can get both on port 1 and port 2. at the moment I have 7 only with 7 on 1 and 8 on 2 if I reverse I get echo 8 only ie put 8 onto port 1

If I have tuner 1 with 7 and port 1 it comes up as echo 7 if I change the port to 2 it changes to echo 8. does this make sense? the same happens on tuner 2

yes because port 1 is the first lnb and port 2 is the second lnb

sounds like things are right.
You will never see both of them on your screen at the same time.
You have to set it to port one and then do a scan.
Tnen change the sat and set port 2 and do another scan.

set all your settings to this, make sure it says echo 8 in the top corner and do a channel scan.

There has to be a way of getting both I did before I did the factory reset

I have 2 tuners and I use them both

the settings for tuner 2 are exactly the same as tuner 1

I had to take the wire comming down off the satellite dish and run it trew a seporater and plug in both tuners.
