How to manually enter keys for the SOnicview SV-360 Premier and Elite PVR

- goto menu.
- goto installation menu.
- then press 7890.
- should see “code” appear and be flashing. Highlight it and Press “OK.”
- scroll to Nagravision .
- goto to Dish and make sure it is 0101 for DN or 0901 for BEV.
- enter the first half of Key 86 (Key 00) in line 10.
- enter the second half of Key 86 (Key 01) in line 11.
- enter the first half of Key 96 (Key 01) in line 20.
- enter the second half of Key 96 (Key 01) in line 21.
- exit out.

going to do this but, when you said to key 86, then key 00 which one do you want me to press...and first half, second half...im confused...newbie...thanks

i'm having the same issue also!? could you please post the complete line by line of keys in order so that there is no more confusion. sorry for my ignorance!

There is no point in trying to enter any keys as they would not work anyway so you would be just wasting your time.\\

That's ok tico we all start somewhere. What are you using with the SV? Ihub? If so it's best to start your own thread in the ihub section and we can get you setup there. If you aren't using the ihub the key entry isn't going to help you, even if you are using the ihub the key entry is necessary.

yes, i'm using my ihub but i want to double check if my keys are correct

Don't bother they change so often there's no way to know. That's an older method of doing things. Are you having problems with the ihub?

my box is freezing. what could be the problem?

The problem is the server, it has been freezing periodically for a little while. It should clear up soon, best thing is to just wait. The keys won't help.

You don't need to enter keys manually. That was more useful in the stand alone days when auto roll wasn't working. If you ever need to enter them in the future though, this is how you would do it.

There is also a way to put them in to a file and load them in through the USB. That's much easier, but I won't get in to that now since it really isn't required at this time.
