Re: Sonicview 360 premiere no signal losing channels missing satellite etc.

Well, try to change your DiSEqC settings ...

DiSeqC Port 1 should be for 119W
DiSEqC Port 2 should be for 110W

But try all 1 2 3 or 4. Wait for several seconds and see what the satellite name is that pops up on top. We are trying to get the name below and above the graph to match. Then you know the settings are correct.

You will see a satellite name appear at the top of the 110W settings screen.
You will want that satellite name to show Echo 8,X 110W

It might be probably a matter of checking all the software above was loaded.

All I can think of is something may not be wired properly or pointed properly. Considering where you are, DN is now pointing at the Eastern Arc for newer installs with the new Dish 1000.4 and those satellites are using MPEG4 and the Dish and LNBs for the Eastern Arc will not work for your receiver.

But your assessment of the Skew, Azimuth and Elevation shows you are aimed to the Western DN satellites.

So, your power inserter and DN sub should go into Port 1 on the bottom of the DP34 switch. One cable from Port 2 on the bottom of the DP34 should run into the back of the Sonicview receiver. It is strange you have a DP34, as they are currently using DPP44 switches for these LNB types.

Try reading this thread, too --> http://www.aaafta.com/forum/sonicvie...0-premier.html

Notice you guys are having the same problem, so you might want to follow the advice there.

Seems to me if you just leave it connected and powered up they will just eventually start working.

The reason we are asking is because we are a small site just starting out and all expenses are out of pocket. In order to maintain and keep the site running it costs lots of money for server costs, maintenance, etc. It's more than one can be obligated to pay and we hope you can find it in your hearts to help support this site so we can continue to give you great support.
