NO SIGNAL AT ALL!
Two days ago, I had guys fixing my roof. To get up on the roof, they used a ladder in front of the dish so they climbed up and down in front of the dish. The signal would go away and then come back. Then it totally went away. I couldn't speak to them what they did to the dish because they don't speak English. So the signal comes 0 and quality comes 0 on all satellites. Did they burn my receiver?

Re: NO SIGNAL AT ALL!
Yes I checked all my connections. I even connected each satellite directly to my receiver no switches. I even played around with the settings. It's a dish 1000 plus. 110 118.7 119 and 129.

Re: NO SIGNAL AT ALL!
Do you have another STB you can hook up to see if that is the problem or a problem in Dish and LNB's ?

Re: NO SIGNAL AT ALL!
Hi polariswarrior. sounds like they knocked youre dish out of whack.
Gonna have to realign youre dish. one tip that would help would be to bring a small tv and youre receiver up there,if it`s posible. This can save lots of time. when realigning eliminate all switches. Also you should have signal but no quality even if youre dish is not aligned properly. Double check all connections up there like roswell suggested.. |

Even if your dish is out of alignment, you should still get signal strength. I would check the fitting at the dish before messing with the dish alingment. No signal means no connection. |
