Servers are down, Both BEV and DN are down as the X-Team continue on ther their updates.

Both BEV and DN ran Solid since Midnight.. that is 4hrs of uninterrupted TV.

For the 1st 2 hours there was quite a bit of freezing every few mintes as the team Brought DN Online. Frezing was happening on Bothe BEV and DN but as time went on the freezing diminished to the point that for the last 4 hrs or so there has been little to no freezing on BEV or DN.

We were informed that over the next few days more channels be be getting added plus "A Few Surprises"

So there may be some freezing or temporary down time as the X-Team do their updates and Tweaking as Channels are added.

Anyone that has not loaded their X2 yet or set up their new Receivers may do so now no matter what Sat you are pointed at.

But please ask if the Server is up before proceeding.

More channels being added and as this continues. some will be down for a bit as described before.


CH 122 was up down for aout 1/2 hr but is up again.

Both BEV and DN have been Solid.

Some Minor freezing on a few Channels fro DN

CH 120 froze twice in last 10 minutes or so for 5 to 6 sec.

BEV remains Rock Solid.. I mean no freezing no freezing what so ever

DN still has a bit of freezing and some channels.. not bad but still noticeable.

No new Channels have been added that I noticed. SO the current CHannel Lists Stay as they are.

Ok guys looks like they found out what the problem has been with DN.

It is a bug on the offshore Server. It appears to be a a Socket getting closed, disconnected, intermittently , support is aware on this issue, and will be fixed as soon as possible

It appears that the Isssue at the serve has been resolved

Now the X-Team are Cleaning up the Channel list, meaning, that they go thru each channel and confirm for proper Calibration

SO more freezing on DN can be expected till they are done.


BEV Remains Solid, DN still experiencing some freezing.

ok guys issue resolved.

Looks like the new System to check for fraudulent activity was st too sensitively and it banned a few Ips from the server.

It is being re-calibrated to avoid this in the future but it will ban any IP that tries to log into the Sonysat Server with none approved Devices or anyone attempting to hack the server.

Now how is that for security..

SS has shut down DN starting at 9AM to finish up on the maintenance. Please DO NOT adjust your sets as it will be back in an hour or 2...

BEV is still up and running and running in the meantime.

DN Deployed another of their Famous Thurday ECMs

Sonysat had taken the Servers off line so the Tech Team could do some upgrading offshore. DN was down at 9AM ESTand BEV at 10:30 AM EST before the ECMS from DN were deployed. Sonysat is still down

DN and BEV still down as Servers are still being updated by the Tech Team off shore.

For the 1st 4 hours that the Server came back on line there was a lot of freezing on both BEV and DN as the X-Team went thru the Channels a cleaned them up then around 10PM EST all the freezing came to a halt on BEV as it is Usually Solid but on DN as well. Low Numbers in the 300s all the channels have been experiencing only micro freezing but freeze free for lower numbers for the last 2 1/2 hours.

Great Job X-Team

Not only were they able to fix up todays ECM from DN but got the DN freezing bufg that was around since Jan 27, 2010.

Hopefully the server is stable enough that they can continue adding all the missing Channels from DN, the XXX and the International Channels from 118.7W

BEV has been Rock solid

DN has been fantastic for the last 2 hrs I have had it on CH 300... no Freezing at all.

Also Ch 200 on DN as been Rock Solid

a couple more ppl may have had their IPs banned at the Sonysat Server for no fault of their own.

Seems like the few IPS that were being blocked at the Server end have now been released so everyone should be up now

DN is about 90% freeze free and has been since Supper time last night

Great news.

We are to have the UFC 109 Available on CH 455.... so unless something unforseen happens...... Let's Rumble.

Additionally most of the missing channels on 118.7 are to be added today plus a few more we were told.

So... looks like a good day guys and thank you X-Team for a continued job well done.

Anyone that was down due to IP Blocks should be back up as of around noon today as a reset was done.

Beginning at 6:16 PM Eastern Time Today evening, we began experiencing a “distributed denial of service” attack aimed at our “EKE” server.

The attack used more than 2 Gbps of network bandwidth from several thousand different IP addresses. This is an extremely high amount of traffic, saturating even our network connections.

The problem caused make our server to become unreachable (or very slow) from the Internet.

We take reliability seriously. Unfortunately, this is by far the largest attack we’ve seen on our network . We sincerely regret and apologize for the impact this had on our customers

I guess DN is using BOT attacks to take down the server.
