Re: reported attack site continues...

They are still working on it. Lots of weird things going round at present affecting many sites. Did you read this?

Conficker Worm Spikes, Infects 1.1 Million PCs In Less Than 24 Hours

When you click on the link inside the report, it leads further on to a lot of very useful info and further reports. I downloaded the malware detection link and my 2 worms were removed. There is a noticeable improvement on my (NOT Mac yet) laptop.

Dont worry guys.

This is the latest as I know it. There were problems which Admin and WC are aware of. This was malware sent by someone to cause problems on this site. This happened on more than one occasion and one was through a link posted by someone who registered, posted only on one occasion and has never returned. This actually affected my laptop, I have cleared this by downloading Kasperskys. If there were any further Malware, Kasperskys would warn me. Google has, in one of their recent reports stated that there is no malware reported on this site for over 14 days now, but there are still little "hiccups" that need to be cleared and investigated and they need time to do this. This would involve closing the site. Just lately this has not been possible because of the many ECMs weve been having, so in their wisedom, they decided to keep going in order to supply the new bins everyone obviously is waiting for.

When this is clear they apply to Google to have this warning lifted, but I have to say I personally would love to know who the couple of people were that reported this site to Google that caused this problem. The site is becoming too popular and growing rapidly and I leave you to work out the rest. But just recently I received, by email, a warning from another fta site threatening to ban any member that goes onto this site (not actually named, but I knew what they meant)or similar site with infections. Work it out for yourselves guys, its all to do with dirty tactics. I have also received quite a few PMs trying to encourage me to join other sites, by their Moderators etc.

I am quite happy with the great service and people on this site and have no intention of leaving it no matter what these blabcrabs try to do to damage it.

VIVA aaafta!!!!!!!!!

Re: reported attack site continues...

Since the original post is now locked, i am going to reply here. For the very first time, today, I also got this screen 'Reported Attack Site' Reported Attack Site! This web site at www.aaafta.com has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences. Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system. Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.

I did, and actually it looks like on june 21 it was back reported. Re: reported attack site continues...

I appreciate your help, but if you google aaafta.com the results on google's search engine does not show any warning, it would certainly say malware on this site, or something similar. Believe me google are quick to act on these things, please check this for yourself.

Also please read this part which you yourself posted from google;

Has this site acted as an intermediary resulting in further distribution of malware? Over the past 90 days, aaafta.com did not appear to function as an intermediary for the infection of any sites. Has this site hosted malware? No, this site has not hosted malicious software over the past 90 days.

We have had many hundreds of members on this site tonight and no-one else has reported this. As all your concerns have now been answered and this is a very old thread, it is now closed.
