How come when you google this site google is saying this site is harmfull to your computer...so, why is your site harmful and why do you have viruses built into you website if so, you need to not have them on there...

Firstly you have been a member since 2007 and you have still not confirmed your membership, please click on that email the site sent and confirm your registration.

Secondly that notification from Google is another new one. I wrote to Google saying there is no malware on this site and they checked and removed it. Someone only has to report that there is malware and Google put the warning up. It is malevolent.. There is NO malware on this site.

The solution until Google gets it right is to stop doing Google searches for this site. Also, Yahoo searches for AAAFTA.com produces the same results. Use Bing and everything works correctly. Type the home page into your browser or create a link to the forum page and you will not get the fake messages and redirects.

This is happening for a long time now and must be hurting the site.

It's the second time I recall.

You can't ask someone not to do Google searches when it's the most
popular one. When the search is returned, it is a general response
which may link you to many FTA sites.

Unfortunately, AAAFTA is the only one with the red flag.

Just click "ok" and carry on, this site is safe. It will eventually get fixed up.

I remember I had this issue before and I didn't enter this website for a while. I think its still not fixed yet, and its not google's problem because its the only website with this issue.

However, the warning will not appear if you use Firefox.

If you don't believe that it is a problem related search engines, try a different one. It doesn't matter which one is most popular. Bing, for example, brings up the same link as the first one when you search on AAAFTA.com. But, when you select this link, everything works correctly. Typing www.AAAFTA.com into the browser also works without getting those fake security alerts. Don't take my word for it. Check it out yourself. This site is doing everything they can to eliminate the problem. I know this doesn't help those who are new to FTA and searching for an FTA site, but it will stop some of the folks who are already here from fearing the worst. There is nothing wrong with this site.

I don't think using another browser will not give u a result but using
a more popular one will. Google returns the most popular results based
on previous searches etc. I'm sure most browsers might work similarly
but Google being most popular will do a better job.

As for not seeing the red flag using FF, that is not the case. Not for
me anyway, I see it no matter the browser. It says right there on
the pop up (flag) what they find wrong with the site.

I don't think it is a problem with the browsers either from my tests. But, popular or not, Google is one of the problems, along with Yahoo. Personally, I don't like Google, but I do use it for things that it does better than another engine. I prefer Bing for Maps, for example. The ground level views are much more detailed and up-to-date than Google, Yahoo, Mapquest, and others that I've used. My statement is still valid. For those of us using the site already, just quit using Google to get here. Either type the URL in the address bar, create a bookmark, or a shortcut link on the desktop. No more false alerts.
