how to get file off of hard drive
i have a veiwsat pvr 7000. and i wanted to get the movie files off of it. is there a way to get the files off of it. when i hook the hard drive to my computer it recognizes it but do's not show up as a usable hard drive.

Here is the Utility you need -> Linux Partition Reader Utility for Viewsat PVR 7000 PVR7000
Generally, you use the USB Explorer Utility for the Viewsat PVR 7000 to connect to the computer, then you drag and drop recordings to your computer. Here is the Link -> Viewsat PVR7000 USB Explorer Connect the PC to the PVR with a USB cable. Then you can browse out and get the files to your computer with Windows Explorer. I know this Help Section has been a bit neglected, there are not a lot of Viewsat PVR7000 users here. I will post some stickys here for this receiver model soon.
