SlingBox for Viewsat Ultra V2
Hi , I just received my Viewsat Ultra V2 about 2 weeks ago and I was wondering if there's a Slingbox for this unit ? And if so what is it called and where can I buy it and how much does it cost .

A Slingbox is a universal device for all receivers, FTA or subbed.
Check out all the models here: Sling Media - Home of the Slingbox They are available in all major electronic stores, like Best Buy. Probably the best one to get these days are the Slingbox Pro for you. They are HD compatible. Be sure to get the HD cable if you want to sling HD video. The Slingbox Pro also allows you to hook up 4 devices. So, you could run a couple of different receivers, and a DVD player, and a sub, if you wanted them all accessed by your laptop. If you get one, they are compatible with all receivers and other devices that transmit video and audio, it is a matter of either making your own remote codes file or finding one. You could say I have the Viewsat Ultra V2 IR Slingbox bins here, as they use the same IR (Infra-Red) remote codes as the regular Viewsat Ultra.

Hi Woodcreeker, I thought the sling box was another terminolgy for a IKS unit(Dongle) I guess Not!
So do you know if the VS ultra 2 is capable for a IKS unit and do they have one yet? And if they do where can I buy one? Thank a Million Captain3831 |
