is fta down
just read on a sister site that all fta is down. i just started testing a vs 2000 extreme a few days ago and was having trouble with channels dropping. is this the reason? still at work so wont be able to see until about 11 eastern. will welcome any reply and will check back at that time. thanks in advance.

That is correct,
All providers are currently down due to 12/27 ECM

Be patient, new fix files will be available soon

Check Out: LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite

Pick any satellite amd click on Frequencies.
Scroll down to the bottom.

All the channels on that satellite is listed as encrypted or open in the table. There is a legend above the table, also. These channels are color coded throughout the site as yellow. All the open channels are the true FTA channels. They are all open, and working. Click on the [P] for Packages on any satellite and these are the encrypted channels.

what files did you put on your reciever? if it was newest bin file than there is nothing wrong,vs are down right now. just be patient and when new files are released you will find them on this site as soon as they are available

You may simply need to use the Latest Opkey file to fix your Viewsat receiver.

So, what is wrong with your receiver??
