Not to rock the boat but what the hell. Hopefully in the 21st century we can start to get a handle on the myth that is god. "God is a concept by which we measure our pain"-now the author of this knew and my goodness what a contribution he made during his all too brief lifetime-I still miss him. Concept not reality mind you. The only way our planet and species can survive in the centuries ahead is to deny all gods, all religions, and focus on reality NOT fairy tales. Let there be light. Peace, love, and understanding.

Sorry LB. I'm agnostic like George Washington. Sometimes thanking an imaginary being instead of appreciating the crazy odds that natural selection has brought, gives a different appreciation of life.

I love science. I respect research. I appreciate hard earned data. This God bit is a little silly IMO - at least in the way it's currently reflected. 6 days and 6 nights. Explain the Alps, Barrier Reef and Brice Canyon. I like the approach of Native Americans - Mother earth. Something to be respected and you'll be rewarded by respecting it. I maintain full respect for others that feel differently and wish for same. Sometimes I just hear too much of people thanking the imaginary being. Sorry.

Elsewise, I pushed the setup to the East and lost all my old channels in search of new. I only have a dozen or so now. I can say this. Brazillian female newscasters freaking rock! I don't know portugese but I appreciate a beautiful woman.

Agnostic, athiest, or worshipper, it shouldn't matter how another person believes. Thankfully, we all have the right to thank whomever we feel is responsible for us and the right to make comments as we choose. But, is it really necessary to make a negative comment about a person's belief? I'm just happy we live where we have a choice and happy to have all of you here.

Sorry if I offended. Here in America, you can hardly take a step without being force fed Christianity in one form or another. I'm very sensitive to it because I've witnessed the religious right trying to dictate what is and is not okay in government institutions. I took offense seeing it hear too and over reacted. I am sorry for that.
